i forgot i can't tell a funny anecdote about computer on the internet anymore without getting unsolicited advice on how to fix the funny behaviour because computers can[t be funny anymore

(i did get that you were joking, but it was something that had always annoyed me about windows and i had spent a bunch of my time trying to fix it. i tried to convey that i understood that you were joking with the last part of my post. my apologies, i won't bother you again)
