now i wanna make modern qwk

i don't like gemini because i think it's an echo chamber that largely ignores everything that made the early web great (interactivity, marquee and blink, plugins, gaudy css) and only works for modern computers. i'm gonna come up with a qwk-like thing and i'm gonna target windows 98.
