while fixing a new floppy drive and the LED board for my amiga 600 i managed to destroy the keyboard membrane i bought less than 10 years ago and had to spend 35 pounds to get a new one 🙏 bless, who needs groceries anyway

i'm just really upset at myself because i tried so carefully to open the keyboard membrane latch and the whole thing came out in one fell swoop and like 3 lines had the carbon pad at the end completely sheared off. in trying to fix it i managed to make it worse. keyboard membranes suck! the whole thing is still good but just the one little connector end is ruined and you gotta bin the whole thing
i wish i had disposable income to just throw at these problems but sadly i've been unemployed for 2 years now and stuck in immigration limbo which means i literally cannot look for work anywhere
i'm overqualified for most jobs on linkedin yet they can't bring me in because mr uk government says i can't generate value for their economy without paying them thousands of pounds to get a little piece of paper ^^; http://maple.pet/tech give me money
