i need a tiny speaker and i don't know what to rip one out of without having to order parts from china (i have no issue ordering parts from china, i just want one now)

by which i mean i'm more upset that i can't easily find loose parts like this in-country so that shipping is quicker

oh, oh, laptop speakers, everybody's always selling gutted laptop spare parts

@mavica_again so wee but I wonder about the accuracy of the trumpet claim.

@mavica_again registering interest in the process of characterizing the noise floor here.

@mavica_again at this point, if we had more space, i'd probably just start buying any for parts laptop under 5gbp on ebay to stock a parts bin for you

@Atatra i regret not gutting more parts off that broken laptop we trashed

@mavica_again me too, but i wager there'll be more scrap devices in the future, and we can start finding a storage solution for parts
