Am I the only one that can't see Patreon as more than just a payment platform? I'll subscribe to toss someone a few bucks but this "Patreon exclusive" crap just pisses me off. It's not an entertainment site, it's not a social network, it's a payment platform and I'm not logging in unless I want to modify my payments. (Especially there, their login process is a fuckin nightmare and their support would rather blame the user than fix anything.) Post that shit on your regular platforms! That's what I signed up to support! I certainly didn't join your Patreon for some silly exclusives that I couldn't see until after I'd already paid for them...

@admin people who are not like you often need incentives in order to give other people money and it's for them that the exclusives are, so they get to feel good that they are getting something back for their money that they couldn't have gotten for free

@mavica_again yeahh, but when the exclusives are two hours long while the normal stuff is like twenty minutes and I'm paying for these on two separate platforms but the one that's actually a paid subscription media platform still only gets the twenty minute versions...uggggg

@admin i feel like that's more an issue with how patreon is designed rather than how the creators use it at that point

@mavica_again which is why I want creators to use platforms that are actually designed for what they're trying to do lol
