whenever i hear someone speaking english with an accent which i am at a loss to pinpoint, i'm like. it can't be newfoundland again can it. this person doesn't sound like any of the other people i've heard from there. and i look it up and sure enough it's like "this specific pronunciation is common in as many as 12 of the 813,701 different newfoundland dialects"
