i guess the best tool for modifying STLs you don't have the source file for is still blender
this is like learning a complicated daw like ableton or fruityloops in order to cut a song down to a ringtone for your phone
i literally just want to move a relief in to make it inset instead and make a little notch along an edge, and the best software to do that doesn't deal in real world units
