i'm tired of being quiet and orderly under the fear that people will get away from me if i'm anything but

if i'm annoying you by being myself don't let the door hit you on the way out

i already don't have a support structure here. i already barely have friends on the fediverse. i have nothing to lose by being loud and annoying about meta that is actively harming us every single day. i'm done being polite

@mavica_again I hope and didn’t intend this to be me favoriting something negative, because I read it more like “hell yeah Mavica be who you are and if people don’t like that it’s not your problem”

@caroline no no a favourite there sent the right message, thank you

mavica is spelled lowercase, just in case you didn't know :]

@mavica_again yeah I’m so sorry! Corrected before I even saw your reply ☺️

@mavica_again Fredi is not an easy place to get close to people. It's too public for that. Even though a lot of very personal stuff is being shared, it's the one on one contact that builds friendships. Even online. Try inviting a mutual follower to a private chatroom and see how that works out. Or maybe accept the invitation of somebody reading this.
I really appreciate your content by the way. Keep up the good work.

@hackbroetchen i appreciate and thank you for the well meaning message but the wires are crossed a little.

i am not bemoaning "not having friends", but rather the social fall i've (and every other member of the instance i've run for 8 years now also has) taken because of transphobic smear campaigns designed to drive trans women away from the fediverse.

a lot of it came to a head in recent days: fedi.aria.dog/notice/AsuwGyt3g

@hackbroetchen the point of the post you replied to is that, already having taking this social fall, i have nothing to lose by being annoying by continuing to point out how we're mistreated. so i'm not going to shut up about it

@mavica_again sorry for misunderstanding you.

Being dropped right into a very trans heavy bubble of the fediverse right from the start, I had the notion that fedi is one of the few places where trans people are not constantly bullied. Sad to hear that it is different in other corners...
