i think if you do a lot of stuff on the computer, programming specifically, everything is such a pain in the ass to do, not because the problems you're solving are naturally complex, but because of annoying artificial stuff like "configuring this toolchain takes an entire working week", that the cumulative effect on the soul makes your creativity atrophy, and your interests gradually turn inward, toward meta-concerns like programming language and tool design, rather than actually making anything
