Good #StarTrek so far given some meh opening credit music. I really like Ake's Prairie Style office and other design elements.
Definitely so high school but in a fun and funny (if slightly predictable) way. Tig! And The Doctor singing opera!
I think the nice thing compared to Disco is that while there is an arc it's not galaxy dooming (yet, anyway).

I didn't get why everyone stood after the speech. Some line seemed missing? But otherwise some nice backstory for The Burn and its long term consequences.
Feels a bit like we're getting Aladdin (thief and princess) but with a love triangle. Or square?
Lots of little easter eggs which are fun too. Like in the subtitles the exocomp is named Almond Basket 🤣
