@typhlosion One does not merely "make things" in a vacuum but as part of a community whose practices are (somewhat unfortunately) rather a matter of mob rule at the moment. There is still value in trying to nudge that community away from broken tools that end up hurting a lot of people because they feel compelled to use them because they happen to be the modish thing.
