the nicest thing about the fediverse is how chill it (usually) is, away from the nasty/huge instances. the moderation tools are well implemented to protect users, and you can easily find a safe space to cozy up in especially if you're queer/trans/poc/disabled/etc

@mos_8502 yes it's been very concerning seeing these things grow in capability, they are able to ship semi-functional apps automatically now....which is a big concern for the open source sector
