if someone asks you for a content warning, try to avoid asking for an explanation and justification. even if eye contact or food feel weird to content warn, it really sucks to explain exactly why those things hurt
additionally, make posts about how it's a welcome thing to ask for content warnings! maybe pin that, you get 5 of those on standard mastodon instances!
you'll get subposted about a lot less if people feel safe to DM you about their cw needs uwu
