@Chel hiya hello chel!!! i think i tried mabinogi a looong time ago, i've played a lot of nexon mmos, but the mmos i've put the most time in are uhh,, ffxiv, wow, and dungeon fighter online (which i admittedly wish i didnt, the community for dfo is GARBO)

Mabinogi has been around since... ah... well, more or less forever at this point, so that makes sense. They're still piling on content however, which is pretty awesome.
The only other MMO I've really put any time into thus far myself is Maplestory 2, which unfortunately is suffering a lot from a distinct lack of content at the moment 😅
Unfortunate to hear about DFO - I've seen it around on Steam a few times :o
@Chel i got a character to 60 in maplestory 2 but then the endgame grind felt so like, bleh to me, so i stopped playing, then it turned out the other day someone on reddit figured out that they filed a patent to use machine learning to make people play the game more, the rng in the game is meant to make you keep playing, and it feels really manipulative and shitty. so now i'm just gonna kinda........ not...... touch ms2 anymore.........
@orbgirl Yeah, that's about how things went with me. I ran fire dragon until I basically couldn't stand to look at the game anymore 😅
and thus the small fledgeling guild that my partner and I had put together came to a fairly inglorious end
