I'm working on an open source project (multi-mode SIMV capable ventilator), and it's looking like I'll be able to start seriously testing my prototype at the end of this month. Subsystems have all checked out so far. Unfortunately, my country is forcing me to go back to work, so I won't have as much time to keep working on it. Anyone have any experience getting funding for open source projects or have any advice? I'd love to keep working on this rather than sacrificing myself to capitalism.
Dropped out of biomed engineering school senior year because the whole industry is corrupt in my country and works on totally fucked principles. I use my skills to make open source medical technologies to release for anyone who needs them. Currently, I'm working on an open-source ventilator. I've gotten the mechanical aspects working, and I'm in the middle of testing and programming ventilator modes and functionality. I'm ancom and technoprogressive. Feel free to reach out!
