I'm working on an open source project (multi-mode SIMV capable ventilator), and it's looking like I'll be able to start seriously testing my prototype at the end of this month. Subsystems have all checked out so far. Unfortunately, my country is forcing me to go back to work, so I won't have as much time to keep working on it. Anyone have any experience getting funding for open source projects or have any advice? I'd love to keep working on this rather than sacrificing myself to capitalism.

extremely negative about hrt not working for me as well as advertised to me by other trans girls 10 years ago

@mavica One of the most important parts of feminizing HRT is blocking T. Depending on country, the two typical ways to do this are spironolactone and cyproterone acetate. There is a third, better option. If you can afford it, you can look into GNRHa, which works differently than T blockers. T blockers block receptors, GNRHa tells the pituitary not to release T. It is costly though.
