Question for trans women and amab enbies that have done laser hair removal, particularly for facial hair, did you do it before or after starting hrt (if any) and have you had good results?
@quirk started just after hrt, results were kinda meh for me, i stopped after about 11/12 sessions of lasering 'cause it felt like a waste of money and it was hurting too much for me! (plus my hair is blonde and kinda red, so yeah, not really good for lasering (at the time, dunno for now, maybe they improved it?))
@quirk Before, and yes. I have enough white hair that I still need to shave but losing the dark hair means I no longer get shadow and it makes a huge difference.
(The usual advice is that hrt will help with body hair but not facial hair, and that fits my experience so far.)
