Imagine a cave, where various persons are imprisoned since birth. They are chained so as to create a fixed gaze upon a wall, on which can be seen the shadows of various entities walking past outside the cave— people, horses, carts. This audience would be, by nature, highly engaged with these shadows, which we may call "content". So what if— among these shadows— we were to include advertisements?
I've no longer got a job, and I'm also kinda completely broke.

like the other day I stopped myself from writing a long reply to this random post I got recommended, from a recruiter who was complaining about how no one was saying hello and being nice and instead responding to his cold recruiting messages with "what's the salary" or "is it remote"
like these kinds of people just see it as everyone being a noob and not knowing that hurting this poor man's feelings will reduce your capitalism high score
and not that we have a finite time on this fucking earth and cannot waste our time on people with the audacity to send messages about jobs lacking basic info
