Leave it to Japan to gamify social good:
Co-op Kobe has created a system through which those without a smart phone can “order” tasks that they would like help with (in the illustration, taking out the garbage). The co-op then will mail them some QR codes to stick on the “task”and will send push notifications to those who have registered to help in the area. Whoever does the task, scans the QR code and gets credit at the coop. https://social.coop/media/qoBN8wcTPjTCytNQ4AM
I love this so much.........

UhOh! The advertiser overlords know I'm a woman now. I just got an ad aimed at pregnant women and women who are thinking of getting kids. And it was in my language, so they got age, gender, location right. They just missed that I'm trans…
It's likely just a coincidence and I'm just imagining things.

healthcare, ~
After finding out that the waiting time for the gender identity clinic is 20 months, I've been looking for other options.
Plan A: Wait for 20 months
Plan B: Move to a different part of the country, closer to friends, and with shorter GIC queues
Plan C: Fly to or Skype with GIC elsewhere
Plan D: Selfmedicate, expensive, difficult, and risky, but possible
Trans woman, bisexual, someone's fiancée, forever a programmer, poly, and former total mess
