G'night cuties! 💖

I really need to sleep... 💤

microsoft teams, rant, cursing, shouting

Oh, and when I installed M$ Teams on Windows 10 it tried to coax me into converting my Local Windows 10 account to a Microsoft account with my WORK EMAIL connected to "MY ORGANIZATION" so that "MY ORGANIZATION" could "MANAGE MY SETTINGS". FUCK YOU M$! THIS IS MY PERSONAL COMPUTER! I'D RATHER NOT HAVE TO FUCKING BURN IT!

microsoft teams, rant, cursing

I fucking hate M$ Teams, especially the Linux client, I've spent a day trying to figure out a sound configuration that works and fucking nothing works! :bloboutage:

Works just fine in other applications on Linux or in M$ Teams on Windows 10. :blobugh:

I've got a problem with my (build-in) Bluetooth adapter in my computer that requires me to, every once in a while, shutdown my computer, flip the power switch on the power supply and wait a little bit :blobrollingeyes:

Sometimes I forget to turn it back on and so it's left unpowered for longer, then when I flip the switch again the surge is enough to trip a breaker and I have to reset it before trying again :blobfrowning: :blobunamused:

i just looked up the thread and they weren't just suggesting that jimbo uses blockchain, but specifically the bitcoin blockchain

jeez oh man

one of my favourite twitter events is when someone pinged jimbo wales (the co-founder of wikipedia) and said "hey you should use the blockchain for wikipedia instead, it's really good for storing data" and jimbo literally replied "we already have a place for storing data. it's called a database"

the conversation started low and moved further downhill very quickly into this person saying "but the blockchain can do this" and someone else saying "but the database they already have does it faster and more efficiently" and then PUBLIC LEDGER and ugh

@lynnesbian @loke >Think of the savings!
I love that someone answered with this

@lynnesbian Neoliberalism is the juggling act between human rights and making a shit-ton of money, but also being really bad at juggling 😛
