It reflects a change in who I am ✨
The word dogtag (wait is it two words? damn! I've got it wrong this whole time), anyways, The word dog tag has multiple meanings, or at least it's used in multiple contexts, it's either a small metal tag attached to a dog's collar, usually for identification, or it's a similar tag attached to a necklace worn by military personnel for the same purpose
I feel like since 2010 I've moved from using one sense of that word to the other

Around that same time I had a DeviantArt account that I had forgotten but recently stumbled upon again, and I had a hexagonal dogtag as the avi there, here is what it looks like
Why a hexagonal dogtag? Because of Battlestar Galactica! I used to watch that show and the spin-off show Caprica back in 2009-2010-ish

It's a hexagonal dogtag with an 'S' inscribed, the S stands for Sara which is my name (I have not had it changed legally yet, but I will soon enough)

Trans healthcare is not conversion therapy, telling trans kids that they aren't trans, as you advocate, is, you fucking ignorant disingenuous transphobic bigot.
This is an organised fucking dangerous narrative being pushed by transphobic far right hate groups, and it seems to have gained traction with the UK government, with big name feminists, and even with parts of the supposed left.
I'm scared of what happens to trans people if this isn't pushed back on hard. And we don't have the reach to do it. Those of you who aren't trans, if you really believe yourselves to be allies to trans people, you need to step the fuck up.

@FuchsiaShock Everything as above, sadly, yes. The fascists and their more socially acceptable faces ignited this a few years ago, and whilst there's some good pushback in the US, thankfully, the UK press and almost the entire political apparatus ranges from "well, both sides need to be nicer to each other" to "fuck 'em".
If there's comfort to be found, it's in the inevitability of their failure, just as they failed to demonise being gay or lesbian - even now, public support *is* on our side, and will remain so.
But as you note, that support can be timorous - the past few decades have seen the people of the UK become wholly obedient and acquiescent, even helping the worst elements of politics sometimes, as with the 2019 Tory takeover, where racism and xenophobia came to the fore, preferring the white lies of zero immigration, nationalism, and isolationism to rebuilding the NHS and providing housing.
Currently, we must do what we can to make it clear to Truss and her backers that using us as a football will *not* win her acclaim; I see that as the only viable avenue. Appealing to her sense of humanity and compassion - well, yes. If she can be persuaded she won't personally benefit, we may yet be spared the legal battles that would ensue in their attempts to roll back human rights, and not just for trans people, but more broadly.
And fuck Starmer. He was who we needed with Brexit, but now, he makes Blair look principled.
