Yes, this is an outgrowth of "Can I Offer You An Egg In These Trying Times," and I'm delighted and excited to get to work writing a whole book on why the Queerantine flood of trans comics was something really special.

yeah it seems the OEM of this terrible windows machine has somehow fucked it up so that the USB driver doesn't load when you're in the recovery environment.

and it's a tablet. guess what bus they used to connect the touch screen? THAT'S RIGHT, USB!

this is on top of them shipping a windows 8.1 tablet with a 16gb SSD.
and partitioning it with a 5gb recovery partition.

fun fact: this means that once you install all the windows 8.1 updates, you'll have about negative 400 megabytes free!
