Just for giggles, I made my own live shader editor using #godotengine. It works great, however, I have no idea how to access the errors the shader compiler generates. Seems like it wouldn't be that hard to implement as a new kind of chart, that takes columns for start + end time, or start + duration, and a column for labels and renders that as a schedule or calendar.
