I watched a video on how to install a specific toilet gasket and YouTube recommended I install the YouTube Kids app.

Good idea, make some kids do plumbing instead of us adults! They've got little hands, I'm sure it'll help them reach all the little parts.

@JosJuice @eniko not a lawyer, but BSD-0 is probably better for software, since it has the “don’t sue us” clauses

Gonna start using as nonsensical descriptors as possible for audio. Things do not sound bassy, warm, harsh, or anything like that. It's all about how endolymphatic that kick is and how metaphysical the mix sounds coming out these cans.

I respect VLC replacing the usual "agree"/"disagree" radio buttons underneath the GPL license, which is just an indication of your rights and not a document you need to mark your acceptance of, with a simple "You are now aware of your rights 😇" label

You know that "parents rights" is a dogwhistle, right?

Anytime someone is pushing parents rights, it's part of the fascist agenda. "Parents rights" means "control over children's autonomy." Autonomy is the one thing we must never try to control if we want to raise healthy children.

Remember this, and try to reframe every conversation about parenting into these terms. Parents do not have rights. They have obligations. Children have rights, and parents have the power to deny them, and that's horrifying. Parents who do not honor their children's autonomy are failing in their obligation.
