I like how the answer to "how do magnets work" is just "they're made of lots of smaller magnets"
How do those magnets work?
"They're made of even smaller magnets"
What's the smallest possible magnet
"An electron"
A single electron is a magnet
"Yeh because it's spinning. Kinda."
Why does that make a magnet
"Idk that's just what a magnet is"
So we have no idea
"No we have no clue"
I think we need to invent new buzz words every quarter for the KISS principle so that tech companies can convince them selves that they don't need to adopt the new hot thing for no reason
Google PR sure is taking its sweet time getting back to me about the finding that Chrome has a hidden extension that allows all *.google.com domains to monitor your CPU usage and other private system info. I'm sure they're working just as fast as they can.

Illinois has enacted a ground breaking law that requires influencers whose kids appear in 30% or more of their social media content to pay their children. The money should be kept in a trust until the kid is 18 and if not, the child has the right to sue the parents.
This is good. Every state should enact similar laws.

I noticed that. That's an impossible law to pass until attitudes towards guns change.
In Canada most people were raised with guns used for hunting not personal protection (unless protection from wildlife, not human). The US is the only country in the world where so many people feel the need to protect themselves using guns. Killing each other is normalized.
> “Dad, why is my sister’s name Rose?”
“Because that’s your mother’s favorite flower.”
> “Thanks, Dad!”
“No problem, Fortran.”
Oh, cool, Python exceptions now have as of 3.11 an `add_note()` function that lets you add extra notes to an exception. They get displayed with the traceback.
