coffee

Since getting an actual AeroPress, and relegating my cafetière to the sideline, I have been enjoying coffee WAY more! I still take it with milk and sweetner, but the coffee is so much smoother and there's zero silt! Really happy with it!

@renbymon@computerfairi.es I'm the opposite, always found an AeroPress to be a complete faff, whereas the cafetière is much more consistent.

Have you tried coffee with hot chocolate powder you add water to? Kinda makes a budget mocha.

re: coffee

@kevinisageek I guess horses for courses innit, haha. The AeroPress has more parts to clean but for the one or two cups I have per day it's easier for me, personally, to use.

I have not tried adding hot choc powder; will have to give that a try!

@renbymon I’ve been enjoying v60 for a while for the same reasons. Since @/Kyu got me into fresh coffee and introduced me to James Hoffmann (and by extension Hames Joffmann) I’ve upgraded from 15-second instant coffee, to eight minutes of prep. I can’t deny the taste is v nice, but I worry it was one of those curses you don’t notice until it’s too late XD

re: coffee

@Truffles Honestly it was JH who tipped the scales to me getting an AeroPress. Next on the list is a good coffee grinder and grinding fresh for each cup. :)
