@avon_deer @lupestripe I found out recently, from a lift engineer, that the most common fault with lifts is caused by people sticking their arms into the closing doors and setting off the sensors rather than pressing the call button.
Whenever those sensors are set off the doors have to stop hard, harder and more rapidly than when the call button is pressed, and that eventually wears them out and then you get an out of order lift.
