@RavenLuni I am not entirely convinced that was acting alone. The cut DOES seem a little precise for a 16 year old. I suspect the cops could only place him at the scene though.
@avon_deer @RavenLuni Not only is the cut precise, it's very clean. You'd need a *big* chainsaw to make a cut like that - Also, would a 16 year old bother to mark the tree up for cutting? Nothing about this arrest adds up.
@fatedfox @avon_deer @RavenLuni This feels an awful lot like, after the demolishing of the wonky pub, land owners have started to feel that they can just do what they want so long as it's at night. Wouldn't surprise me if someone who owned land there/nearby considered it an "eyesore."
