One thing I don't understand about Altered Carbon is that, in a universe where humans can transfer their consciousnesses into synthetic bodies, why aren't there any furries?
@Bowsette @tryst I did a thread about this when Cyberpunk 2077 came out. In one of the sourcebooks for the original cyberpunk RPG has a section about "Exotics" and accounts for changing your body to be a furry, orc, elf, etc. so it's pretty much canon for the setting.
The PC game does not have Exotics unless modded in.
@renbymon @tryst It's amazing how some of these sci-fi settings absolutely don't get what humans want and would do if they had the opportunity to do so.
