Well, this is it I guess

I'm about to head to the hospital

I've not slept much for the past few nights because I've been so anxious - I guess that's normal

The worst part of all this is waiting

Once things start happening I can just disassociate

I've been nil by mouth since 06:00, four hours ago, and it's starting to get to me a bit. I could really do with a cuppa right now.

Gowned up. Nearly ready to go. All my stuff is in bags, save my glasses and my phone.

Hopefully they'll let me have a cup of tea later

Planned time for anaesthetic induction is 12:30 UTC, but we're running on Eurofurence time today, so might be 13:00.

I can almost taste that cuppa.
