New wiring, new sensor, new connectors, still registering the same fault. However, the waveform on VIDA is very different to what I'm getting on the oscilloscope, so there's definitely something going on somewhere.
At this rate, though, I'm unsure if I want to keep it because insurance has jumped from £420/year to £840/year with a £1225 compulsory excess, on a car that's worth £900 with a full tank of fuel.
@renbymon It's becoming ridiculous, and I don't buy what their excuses about inflation and electric cars.
One of the things that people don't appreciate about the UK insurance industry, is while there are plenty of brokers and "insurers" around, all insurance is underwritten by a small handful of companies. Far be it for me to suggest that they might collude to raise prices (they have expensive solicitors, so this is purely hypothetical), it would be relatively trivial to set up and maintain a cartel.
