Sauce is a liquid/cream/semi-solid food, served on or used in preparing other foods.
Soup is a dish made by combining meat/fish/veg with stock, milk, or water.
By definition milk is a sauce in the context of breakfast cereal.
@Jencen Also in answer to your original question (as I just noticed that it’s different to the pic) breakfast cereal is its own dish.
