so many space games seem completely opposed to letting you use your ship as housing and i wonder how much of it can be attributed to anti-traveller bias.

like. space is fucking big, right? even at sci-fi speeds unless you have teleportation or wormholes, it takes a long time to travel. so why not.... allow that? make my ship my home if i am playing a space game. let me change my loadouts between missions while flying to other planets or moons. let me decorate it and make it look less like a warship and more like a home. rugs and shit. plants. a sofa.

@PsyChuan There was a pen and paper RPG I used to play called Alternity which had your ship being a living space and it was so cool!
