The more I see and hear about Rust, the more I wonder what the hell the language designers were on when they made the language.

I guess it's admirable that a language is so stringent about safety that it literally forces refactors, but if a language starts requiring so much of the same shit so consistently, that shit just needs to become a header file or something.

God, being forced to refactor like that would make my adhd ass abandon the language so damn fast.

I guess this is why I like using Python, php, and javascript so much.

I can just bang out something quick and get results, which is exactly what my serotonin-deficient brain demands out of hobby work.

Look I've only got one serotonin molecule bouncing around in my skull like a DVD screensaver. I ain't wasting that shit on languages that require too much build pipeline or samey boilerplate that overcomplicates the process for literally no good reason.

@dragonarchitect Unrelated but "I've only got one serotonin molecule bouncing around in my skull like a DVD screensaver" is the most "it me" thing I've read in a while and now I have to sit down. x3
