Still such a great intro to this classic movie πŸ˜‰

Of course on watching Ghostbusters there's the question: what is the best 80s movie soundtrack?

I'd maintain it's a close run between Beverley Hills Cop and Ghostbusters.

I think, BHC has the edge as an independent album, but Ghostbusters works the music in so well with scenes from the film.

And now I consider Batman with the soundtrack from Prince. More great bangers, and Party Man is a great sequence in the film, but perhaps a close third?

Best Movie Soundtrack Album?
(And whilst all these are from the 80s, I'm open for suggestions outside the decade, I just suspect that it was a period where studios planned for this)

@arakin The Breakfast Club blows all of these away for the soundtrack.

@fatedfox @arakin 100% will second The Breakfast Club as having the better soundtrack. Also I've gotta add Top Gun and Rocky IV for having some absolute Kenny Loggins bangers
