Recent PiHole major release has rewrote the main web interface to lua and has incorporated its own web server... and upgrading to it has bricked the interface on my server because it clashes with an existing apache instance. 🙃
@renbymon What's it running on? VM, Docker, something else?
@philpem I've not yet been able to get my head around docker so it's just running directly on the server.
@renbymon Ahh, that'll be the issue then. If you didn't want to move it, you could set up a second IP address on the network adapter and bind Pihole to that.
"You can change the ports that pihole tries to use"
That didn't work; it would just not map to whatever I set. In the end I just had to let pihole have https/443 for the time being.
At least it is working and I don't need https interally just yet.
