What was the first Linux distro you used?
Mine was Slackware. I remember migrating from the 2.4 kernel to 2.6.
@philpem I don't remember which way around this was but it was either Mandrake 7.0 or SuSE 7.2, the latter bought with manuals from PC World.
@renbymon Oh neat, I remember Mandrake. First one I managed to get working in desktop mode on my K6 PC.
@philpem It was a shame that they had to rename it to Mandriva, but they were pretty on the nose as to the inspiration for the name ;)
