Please stop inviting couples (or more) to things but only informing one partner. Same for making and changing plans, or sharing news.
It can make the uninformed partner(s) feel like they're only valued as adjuncts of another person, rather than someone in their own right. That they're only tolerated, not liked.
Over time, this can lead to social isolation. The person can start to feel that the only social life they have is through their partner, and if the relationship is an unhappy or god forbid an abusive one, that they can't end it.
This holds regardless of the gender dynamics of the relationship.

@DeltaWye @philpem @tryst @DarkOverord Granted we've just been using WD Red Plus drives in an home NAS but they've been fine for us. We did have one drive fail earlier this year but WD RMAd the drive pretty quickly and they've all been fine.

@Lazerus101 @tryst @DarkOverord I guess that really depends on what the budget is. If you've got an old machine (2 core x64, 8GB ram, 16gb SSD) you can press that into service as a NAS with just two identically sized NAS drives, which is where the main cost comes from.

This sucks so much. I kept telling numerous people " #discord is NOT a forum, it is an IRC app, stop building your communities in it around stuff that needs to be found with a search engine and archived, it's a bad idea for numerous reasons including the overpopulation of server topics in an app that has a 100 server limit" but nobody listened. I hate being right.
We're about to have yet ANOTHER internet library of alexandria situation assuming this shit retroactively applies to existing stuff.
