Was misgendered this morning in a high street shop (the shop assistant called me "sir"), which wasn't a nice thing, but I didn't raise it because I don't feel like I'm presenting?

I didn't say anything and just left the shop after paying.

However a couple of minutes later it did occur to me that I've never liked being called sir, and my brain finally put two and two together "yes of course you don't because you're a girl!"

I swear my brain just misses the most obvious things, lol.

I keep thinking about when I change my name (hopefully later this month, after I've been paid) that I might change my surname too?
I've never liked it and I'd rather it be something more me, but I'm worried about how my dad will take it.
