The instrumentalisation of over 2000 years of Jewish suffering to score cheap political points by non-Jewish people puts my balls in a spin.

Pogrom after pogrom over centuries has been preceded by a public perception that Jewish people are in control of events. The government of Israel, which holds fast to racist and fascist ideologies, should not be protected from criticism. For a number of reasons, not the least of the being the danger it puts Jewish people in the UK in.
