i just fundamentally believe that you should be able to be a dog or a dragon or a bug or a robot or whatever "because it's cool" or "becuase i feel like it" that should be a valid reason
in fact imo looking at it like that can be useful, as it can help you understand your position in the world better, try to understand why you feel that way, and help your identity grow in conjunction with others

Just found myself day dreaming about wearing the Sniperbot prop and remembering how nice it feels to wear it~ ❤️
It’s weighty but wow it fits like a glove and honestly I could see myself walking around with it on for a good number of hours!
I want to make a replica of it for a cosplay because this one has seen better days and doesn’t really look like it can be taken apart without damaging it. Thankfully all the internal parts are visible.
@wawik I drive a car and even I think the newer cars are too big, in both width and height. They make driving way more dangerous than the smaller cars do.
@Bowsette I got it not long after the first episode with them, when the light was white!

Wanna play a great space combat game with a cool story? Check out Tachyon The Fringe. It's currently $2.50 on Steam. Has full mouse controls for flight that's done very well or you can use a joystick. Steam says it can work on Steam Deck too "Playable". Yeah the graphics are 24 years old, but it's all about the gameplay. Also the main character is voiced by Bruce Campbell.

Yet another example why Threads needs to be defederated, a report by @glaad:

Meta is letting hateful content about trans people spread across their networks including Threads.

@avon_deer @Bowsette In hindsight (looking at him outside of how the movie frames him) he’s doing his job and he is in the right.
The Ghostbusters strap “unlicensed nuclear accelerators” to their backs on the daily, of course the EPA would want to know what the hell they’re doing and with good reason.

The smarter more fun thing would be for Walter to have been proven RIGHT in this film and turn his character around, maybe he’s a little more mature and he’s like “Look, I get what you’re doing but this NEEDS to be licensed and approved.”
I’ll never forget when I realised that the problem in GB wasn’t Walter but Peter; It’s Peter’s fault, and more inspired writing would explore that.

@Bowsette Oh my god I just read that WALTER PECK is in it. That’s so pathetic.
Also definitely need to commission art of a Renamon themed Sniperbot. Basically the same but has Renamon like robot ears poking out of the hood, has three digits on the hand instead of five (maybe a glove up that arm, or both, or neither), robot tail, and robot Renamon foot paws.

@Bowsette I wish I could be pleasantly surprised that it wasn’t bad, but (IMO) while Sony/GhostCorp continue to pretend that Answer The Call doesn’t exist we’re not going to see a good movie.
I'm so over the moon to own this! Every time I've gone past it I've worn it for a few minutes and I get such a euphoric feeling from it! It's 100% plugging into the part of my brain that wants to be a robot, haha <3
Sniperbot cosplay is going up the list of importance!!!
