On my way home from work on Thursday I found myself giving a group of loud people a wide berth.
They weren't doing anything wrong, they were just enjoying themselves, but I felt so anxious being near them at all and I felt like I was back in school with a group of bullies coming towards me.
It dawned on me that I was reliving the trauma of my childhood. I know that the likelyhood of anything happening now is slim but it was hard to keep my cool.

Hmmm, job suddenly has a time limit of sorts. The contract is due to finish in 2027, along with the closure of the building I’m based in.
Though I’d likely get an offer of being TUPE’d into the new company, I’m not sure I want to start commuting to Leeds again.
I think it’s time I start planning for a new career to coincide with that. 🤔
