I modded a #gameboy today for a friend. It just so happens today is the 35th anniversary. It had a new IPS display, new power board, new speaker and speaker amp, tempered glass screen lens and an amazing new milled aluminum shell from Boxy Pixel. It also had a weird issue where sound would come out of the headphone jack but not the speaker, figured that out too. Super happy with this build and so is its owner. #retrogaming

over the course of this investigation i paid over $200 USD to make this reporting possible and none of that even covers ANY of the labor from both ryan and me.

you can help me make this kind of reporting sustainable with monthly ko-fi donations!

> In Iceland, we visited data center workers who documented the energy-intensive nature of these centers, which consume more electricity than Icelandic households combined.

One of the reasons why this shit makes me so angry. This is directly threatening Iceland's energy transition as it's soaking up all excess capacity

final version of game build with last minute fixes is up on steam. now we wait

@ret @LunaDragofelis We're at least moving in the right direction; towards heat pumps. Just need to get AC added onto that too.

PSA (?): just got this popup in Firefox when i was on an amazon product page. looked into it a bit because it seemed weird and it turns out if you click the big "yes, try it" button, you agree to mandatory binding arbitration with Fakespot and you waive your right to bring a class action lawsuit against them. this is awesome thank you so much mozilla very cool

I have yet to figure out how to configure something like waybar, so, this is my desktop for now

Hall, I got ganged up on by a bunch of squirrels again :neofox_dizzy:

Never thought I would end up drawing this meme outfit so often :blobfoxlaughsweat:

Anyway, it was fun, I tried to give each squirrel a pose with a certain attitude, I hope you can tell each got different personalities haha.

@vulpine Yeah I've heard that it could take a while; I guess it's going to be a surprise ^^

@chloeraccoon Ahh okay! So if there was enough incoming data on the LAN, in that period, the scale would show positive and negative numbers, as well as a blue graph?

@chloeraccoon Sorry I think that came out kinda bluntly; I mean I'm curious as to why the LAN numbers would be negative rather than positive ^^;
