Protip for phone calls: if you get a call from a number you don't recognize and it's silent for about five seconds before you hear a noise on the other end, it's probably solicitation from a call center and you can hang up.

If it's critical they'll call again. But it never is. It's /always/ spam.

If tech companies enable some feature, _except_ in the EU, then that's an excellent indication that the feature is bad and should not have been built.
