If we fight AI then we fight it together, -- artists, voice actors, programmers, writers -- protecting our already pretty grim future from becoming ever more grim and making sure that human craft is treasured more than a spit from LLM.

If we tell ourselves that "there's nothing wrong in using chatgpt for code, because code is hard uwu" then please don't be surprised when at some point programmers will stop caring and will use stable diffusion to replace human crafted art with its artificial imitation.

@avon_deer They act like the issue is whether Marmite is good or not, or which album by The Beatles is the best. It shows a complete lack of understanding and empathy that we just want to be able to live our lives with dignity and the right want us fucking dead.

Google must not preinstall any Search Access Point on any new Google Device.

That search bar at the bottom of Android? Gone. I don't even know how Chrome OS works now.

Google must display a Choice Screen on every new and existing instance of a Google Browser where the user has not previously affirmatively selected a default [search engine] for that Google Browser, including by changing the search default through the settings.

This is arguably more aggressive than what the EU did to Microsoft and Internet Explorer.

Someone told me the Book of Rust is called the Rustonomicon and the first thing that jumped to mind was this scene from Swat Kats.

It turns out someone's upscaled the first episode to 720p from the DVDs, and it looks pretty sweet!

SO happy to have access to the whole series and can watch it whenever I want and just think an awful lot about how I wanna be The Dark Knight all the time. 🖤🖤🖤🖤🖤

RL Chest

@Nuggette Which blockers are you taking, if you don't mind me asking?

RL Chest

@Nuggette Oh wow that's really quick! I've been on e since July and though I'm getting good brain feelings I'm not getting any tiddies yet. Having said that I'm not taken any t blockers so that might be a problem x3

@darac I've been searching daily for episodes, and this morning some new ones were uploaded to YT and they linked to the archive! Not sure where the person got them, as they do have those countdown clock/info cards at the start, so likely not recorded off the telly. They're not the best quality either, but I'm still super happy! <3

@darac It's been a hard couple of decades, haha. I did know that they were all digitised and archived when the BBC did its big archive project, as the episodes were all available to licence to researchers and media companies, but that wasn't something I was ever going to access. Some friends at the BBC also confirmed that the episodes were all digitised, so it was just a case of either waiting for the BBC to put them on iPlayer or people who had made recordings to stick them on YT

@pippin Yeah a lot of the suits I would have loved to get went for around the same price x)

OKAY now I'm home and have managed to get download and backup it all I'm gonna say that someone uploaded EVERY EPISODE OF INCREDIBLE GAMES to archive.org!! All 24!!!

I've been dying to see all of this for decades and finally it's all online!!! AHHHHH!!!!! 🖤🖤🖤

Early I found something that had me shaking with excitement. Not gonna say what it is yet until I get home and have time to type up but people who've known me for a long time can probably guess.

“fully transitioned” reinforces that the ideal gendered form is a cis-appearing [insert gender here] and that that should be (or is) the goal of trans people of that gender

“fully transitioned” stems from forcing trans people to become sterilized to have their gender recognized (which is still the requirement in many places where gender changes are allowed)

“fully transitioned” implies that people who don’t (or can’t) centre cis-passing in their transition goals are “less transitioned” or less whole as trans people
