Wordy toot: In the IT word details are important

@avon_deer what's that old line about users knowing too much to be dangerous

@gamepopper Oh heck yeah! Definitely gonna buy a copy of this on pay day! :)

Furtannia: The History of the Furry Fandom in the United Kingdom is back on @AmazonUK .

It's also available at @Waterstones and @bnbuzz .

So it's all good, for now.

Wow masto has been such a breath of fresh air compared to other social sites that I have been using. Feeling way happier and it's all so much more chill. 💜

@andrew it's worth doing and getting your own place despite the disappointments 💜

METALIX PRIME!
It's finall here! I've always wanted to make my own STC stories, and about two years ago, after getting into STCTP, I finally started to put that dream into action~ 🧵1/6

Another silly sketch I had lying around I'd love to finish!!🧡
€120, I can change up the sketch to fit your character too ofc!!

Comment if you want it!

Just a quick note to new Mastodon users:

Remember, there's no algorithm pushing hateclicks to you incessantly here, so you actually determine what people see by what you like enough to boost.

The control we always wanted more of there, actually exists here, but more control requires a little more input/effort on our part.

Adding text to photos takes a few more seconds, but it's very helpful to visually impaired users.

Mastodon will likely appeal more to those who want to help make it great.

Ooh, ooh, I can repost my most popular tweet!

Tiny dragons need kobolds too~

@tryst Ahh no problem, I understand ^^

Hit me up if there's anything I can help with. :)

@fatedfox I totally understand that! Personally I think the Foundation and Intermediate licence exams can be passed by reading the relevant books that the RSGB have put out, and I believe the exams can still be taken online so it's a good time to get started. :)

Just realised that there's less than 9 weeks until . Should start thinking about what stuff I want to take now that I have a car and can drive myself. :)

@naima yeah that's what helped me be more active with my practice. Having to haul it all out was such a pain, but now that it's in one place I can practice whenever I want

@kevin I need to work out how much power all of it draws but I reckon I can run them all into a single fused IEC C14 mounted on the back of the case.

@naima that's the idea! All the cables are way too long so gonna try and make up some shorter ones for power and audio, that way I just have a port for power and another for audio and that's it.

Finally got myself a flight case for my mixer and CDJs. I'm going to have to make up some custom power and audio cables, but once done I will be able to just put one box in the car rather than multiple boxes!

To anyone thinking about joining BlueSky, especially artists: everything you post is used to train generative AI models.

BlueSky uses AI to label content for moderation, and to do that they use a company called thehive.ai. If you look through their privacy policy, you will see that they all content sent to them to train models for all their services, which include generative AI for both text and images.

It’s a built in “feature” and cannot be turned off.
