@xenophora random reminder that “amateur” comes from “amator (lover)”, and it’s original sense was someone who loved a pursuit intensely despite no formal training. And it was used as an insult only later, and then only by the aristocracy sneering at class.
So be an amateur! Fuck the gatekeepers and lords!

Not much is written about the furry fandom from the UK perspective, so I was curious to read up on it. Written by @gamepopper :)
Okay really thinking about making a Zoroark fursuit in time for May next year? I was planning Renamon but Zoroark is something I actually have the patterns for and won't take a lot to make work, whereas Renamon will require a lot more work ^^
@LightTheUnicorn Then v cute and good hoss!! 💜💛
@LightTheUnicorn V cute and good pone!!! 💜💛
Phew okay after a weekend of graft I've got the 3D printer up and running again!
The stock firmware wasn't working at all, it would just hang on a blank screen. Rolled my own marlin firmware and it worked first time!
It's all levelled and is ready to print!
@zalno A friend on bird site said that I could be a Zoroark whatever form I take and no one would know, and that's really resonated with me!

With morning greets to the Fediverse - one of my favourite #Amiga dual-state icons.
Have fun on Melee Island!
@andrew That's been on my mind too! :)

Courtesy of Eternal Psygnosis, a cool bit of 90s #tech history: composer Mike Clarke's studio at the Psygnosis office in 1996.
He would have been working on the music for Formula 1, Krazy Ivan, and Tenka around this time.

The term "shameless plug" implies that it's somehow shameful to talk about things you have created and that's bullshit
