A quick financial update as we finish up our accounting:
EMF 2024 cost Β£575k to organise, and despite some unexpected costs due to the wet weather, we made a surplus of about Β£20k. We're a non-profit, so all the surplus goes towards making it easier to run future events.
The swap shop collected Β£3,220.95 in donations, which we've rounded up to Β£3.5k and split equally between Medical Aid for Palestinians and Gendered Intelligence.
We're planning to publish the full financial details on our website soon.

For those interested, Tiggi.es IRC (Internet Relay Chat) is up and running with services, fully encrypted, hosted locally (Not on AWS or the corporate cloud), not run or sponsored by any big company, with zero server-side logging and data collection.

@Beckydog The main problem I have is lunch; a lot of time it's just easier to buy lunch and that's not great. Trying to make healthier meals at home to take to work with me.
Today is the start of my diet! Really want to lose quite a bit of weight this year as it's affecting both my physical and mental health.

Much more appropriate wallpaper for the SPARCStation IPX. Getting the symmetry right for tiling was a bit of a pain in `bitmap`. Took a couple of attempts, and originally went for the original non-angled sun logo.
