there were multiple sounds and vibes those machines could do, and such a wildly different culture based in europe instead of japan and america. Not even just nostalgia but the variety and contrast of leaning into it could make for some fantastic soundtracks that don't sound like anything else

Fun fact: This game from 1991 supports dual monitors.
The PC didn't usually support this until way later, but you COULD install a monochrome card alongside a regular VGA display, and use the monochrome card simultaneously. It was mainly used by programmers, running their debugger/IDE on the secondary monitor, but a few games supported it for things like this.

A year ago, I saw someone open a book lamp in a bar. It was a pretty expensive product. Since I combine electronics and paper crafting, I had to DIY it and develop an easy-to-use circuit template and instructions for it. This educational project is perfect for libraries. Please #retoot :-)
