You don't see globes so much these days. Now that we access most information through screens, we just get 2D maps, so our view of the world is heavily influenced by the Mercator projection. Countries at significant lattitudes are smaller than they appear.

Suddenly remembering two utility/scene disks that I had for my Commodore Amiga, and search engines are proving fruitless.

One I think was called "Mickey Mutant" and the boot screen had artwork of a woman with a snake, and the other was "Inspector Gadget's Utility Disk".

I remember being a bit scared by the former, for some reason (maybe the music? I was a child, lol) but the latter is kinda vivid in my memories. Would love to find ADFs of them :3
